Marketing Assistance and Technology Up-gradation

To provide marketing platform to manufacturing MSMEs through enabling their participation in State/District level exhibitions being organized by State/District Authorities/Associations.

Objective

  • To encourage manufacturing Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) in their efforts of tapping and developing domestic / overseas markets.
  • To encourage Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) for adoption of bar coding on products for increase in marketability of products in National/International market.
  • To facilitate marketing linkages especially in the view of Public Procurement Policy for MSEs Order 2012.
  • To create consciousness and to educate the MSMEs about importance of packaging in marketing, latest packaging technology, import - export policy and procedure, latest development in international trade etc. by organising International & National Workshop/ Seminar on marketing /packaging/topics relevant to MSME sector.

Nature of assistance

  • Free registration for participating in trade fairs
    •   Note: The selection of participants would be done by the MSME-DIs post the submission of application.
  • Reimbursement of 50% of to and fro actual fare by shortest distance/direct train (limited to AC II tier class) from the nearest railway station/bus fare to the place of exhibition and 50% space rental charges for MSMEs (General category entrepreneurs).
  • For Women/SC/ST Entrepreneurs & Entrepreneurs from North Eastern Region Govt. of India will reimburse 80% of items listed above in Point (b).

Note:

  • The total reimbursement will be max. Rs. 30,000/- per unit for the SC/ST/Women/Physically Handicapped entrepreneurs, while for the other units the max. limit will be Rs. 20,000/- per person per MSME unit .
  • The participant is required to submit follow-up proofs post attending the event to claim reimbursement. The proofs can be submitted after logging in online under the section “My Applications” or directly contacting a DI office.

Eligibility

The applicant Micro/Small Enterprise should suitably be registered through EM part 11/Udyog Adhaar Memorandum (UAM) for availing financial benefits.
